How We Work

Reconstruction is a pathway, not a single operation

Whether a child needs an ear rebuilt or an adult needs a burn contracture released, every pathway follows the same three principles.

1

Assess

A careful evaluation of the defect, the surrounding tissue, hearing and function, and what previous treatment has left behind. Reconstruction starts with understanding, not operating.

2

Plan in stages

We lay out the stages, the timing between them, and what each stage can realistically achieve — including the option to wait when tissues need to settle.

3

Rebuild & refine

When the plan is agreed, we rebuild using your own tissue whenever possible, then refine the result as healing matures over months to years.

Patient Education

Reconstructive conditions, explained honestly

Start with the basics: what each condition involves, when reconstruction helps, what the stages look like, and how recovery really unfolds.
